For Debbie Kay

There is no amount of time that would ever be enough

To thank the woman who loves us as a mother should. Her Love sprinkles seeds, showering us with affection.

In the spring, her kindness grows flowers,

Decorating our life with brilliant colors.

Her summers are perfect playtime companions filled with grandchildren’s laughter.

In the fall, her leaves present a pallet of

Orange and golds. While pumpkins offer

A smile to weary travelers bringing in the cold.

Her winters are full of snow angels and hot chocolate,

With children nestled next to warming fires.

There is no amount of time that would ever be enough

To thank the woman who loves us as a mother should.
